Classic Meatballs

Classic traditional meatballs that can be used as an appetizer or with any pasta dish. Don’t forget our recipe for the meat sauce as well.

Ingredients

  • 2 Pounds ground beef
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1/2 Cup quick oatmeal
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 1 Cup milk

Instructions

  • Combine all but meat and soak 5 minutes.
  • Add meat, mix well.
  • Let stand in ice box 1 hour.
  • Form into balls.
  • Bake uncovered at 350° for 1 hour or longer, depending on how brown you desire.
  • Place in a bowl and make gravy in pan they were baked in.
